Volunteer Opportunities

 Your volunteer support makes the PTO possible! Even giving just one or two hours of your time each year can make a big difference for our school.

Some typical volunteer opportunities throughout the year:

• Jog-a-Thon (our main fundraiser)

• Helping provide meals and treats for staff during parent-teacher conferences (fall and spring)

• Celebrating our wonderful staff during Staff Appreciation Week (May)

• Helping setup/cleanup and staff the biannual Book Fairs

• Movie Nights

• Restaurant Fundraisers

• Bottle Drop Fundraiser

• Holiday Wreath Sale

• Serving on the PTO board of directors

Anyone can volunteer! If you are going to volunteer on-site at the school (for example, at a Jog-a-thon or in a classroom), the district requires a brief online application form and a criminal history check.  Click here for more information on getting approved as a district volunteer.

PTO Meetings

Attending PTO meetings is a great way to get involved, stay informed, and meet other Myers families! Meetings are the first Tuesdays of the month at 6:00 p.m. during the school year. 

The next meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 3rd  at 6:30 p.m. at Myers Elementary
